After a storied history in Japan and Dubai, this Subaru Impreza Type R was the perfect candidate for a widebody transformation. Initially planned for a standard restoration, a serendipitous encounter with a rare Aerosim carbon pre-preg widebody kit set the project on a new course.
The car underwent a meticulous test fit to assess the extensive modifications needed for the widebody installation. It was then entrusted to SGM Race Paint, the only Subaru Prodrive-approved paint shop, for a flawless finish. With the paintwork complete, the build process is now underway.
