It's rather well documented over the years that the FA engine suffers from having a little to much factory sealant used on the assembly line. This can result in the RTV circulating around the engine whilst restricting the oil pick up pipe resulting in reduced oil supply. This ultimately leads to engine failure. Its a simple job to remove the sump, inspect and clean while fitting the improved oil pick up. Job time 2.5 hours.
