The SBR 290 tuning option for the Impreza WRX is ideal for Subaru owners wanting to improve performance for road cars. We replace the stock down-pipe with a high-flow sports cat and non resonated centre pipe to improve flow. We then swap the stock fuel pump for the RCM 340 to ensure good fuel delivery. Finally, we add a high-flow panel filter to improve engine breathing and a 3-port boost solenoid for sharper boost control. Your car is mapped on the road, optimising throttle response for peak and mid-range power. The result is a vastly improved power band with a boost target achieved sooner and holding longer across the RPM range. Your map will retain all the factory functions your used to along with the improved safety functions. Please consider power figures may vary based on engine condition and millage. We spend an average of 3-4 hours mapping each car.
